Restoring support for victims of crimes committed by undocumented immigrants

This act aims to re-establish the Victims of Immigration Crime Engagement Office (VOICE) within the Department of Homeland Security. The office will provide assistance to victims of crimes committed by individuals present in the U.S. without lawful status, as well as to witnesses and their representatives. Citizens affected by such crimes will gain access to a hotline, local contacts, social support, and information about offenders' status.
