American Flags Only from USA: New Rules for Federal Agencies

New regulations require that U.S. flags used and purchased by federal agencies must be 100% made in the USA. This aims to support domestic production. Citizens may notice that flags on federal buildings will exclusively come from American factories.
Key points
Federal agencies cannot display or purchase U.S. flags that were not entirely manufactured in the United States.
These regulations will take effect gradually: for flag procurement after 90 days, and for flag display after 2 years from the act's enactment.
The act also mandates a study on the enforcement of country-of-origin labeling for flags and how to improve its effectiveness.
