Trafficking Survivors Relief: Vacating Convictions and Expunging Arrests.
This act aims to assist human trafficking victims by allowing them to vacate certain convictions and expunge arrest records if the offenses were a direct result of their victimization. It also introduces the possibility of reducing prison sentences for victims convicted of more serious crimes, if they can prove they were coerced. All information related to these cases will be kept confidential to protect victims' privacy.
