Students will gain access to free legal, accounting, and marketing advice, as well as capital access support, which can facilitate their business ventures and improve their financial well-being.
Key points
Minority-serving institutions (e.g., Historically Black Colleges, Hispanic-Serving Institutions) will receive grants to create or expand entrepreneurship programs for minority students.
Minority students seeking to establish or develop small businesses will gain access to free advisory services (legal, accounting, marketing) and assistance with capital access.
A Minority Entrepreneurship Advisory Board will be established to develop recommendations on how minority-serving institutions can better serve minority businesses and entrepreneurs.
