Southeast Asia Aid: Mine Clearance and Veteran Recognition
This act aims to support Southeast Asian countries like Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia in clearing unexploded ordnance and landmines that still pose a threat to civilian lives. Additionally, it officially recognizes the contributions of immigrant communities who supported U.S. armed forces during the conflict in the region. This will make these countries safer and their lands more accessible for development.
