This act aims to strengthen the program supporting young leaders and entrepreneurs in Africa. It means more training, exchange, and support opportunities for individuals who want to develop their communities and economies, and build stronger relationships with the U.S.
Key points
Expansion of the YALI program: more fellowships and training for young Africans aged 25-35.
Support for entrepreneurship and good governance: programs will focus on business development, civic engagement, and public administration.
Strengthening US-Africa relations: through exchanges, business cooperation, and building resilience to predatory lending practices.
Establishment of regional training centers: at least four centers in Sub-Saharan Africa will offer in-person and online training.
