More Time to Review Bills Before Voting

This proposal aims to give citizens and their representatives more time to review the content of proposed laws before they are voted on. This will allow everyone to better understand what exactly is changing in the law and how it will affect their lives, finances, or daily responsibilities. This will increase the transparency of the legislative process.
Key points
Bills must be publicly available online for a specific period before a vote.
The minimum review period is 72 hours or two minutes per page, whichever is longer.
Senators will be required to self-certify that they have read a bill before voting on it.
