Ending Mandatory Arbitration for Investors: Greater Choice in Dispute Resolution.

This act aims to give investors more freedom in resolving disputes with investment firms. Instead of being forced into arbitration, citizens will be able to choose whether to go to court or use arbitration. This increases their ability to seek redress in cases of fraud or other issues.
Key points
Prohibits mandatory pre-dispute arbitration agreements for investment firms and brokers.
Investors can now freely choose between court or arbitration for dispute resolution.
Allows participation in class action lawsuits, which was often blocked by arbitration clauses previously.
