Easier Content Creation in National Parks and Federal Lands

New rules make it easier to record videos and audio in national parks and other federal lands. Individuals and small groups will no longer need special permits or pay fees for content creation, as long as they don't disturb other visitors or require exclusive access to an area. This aims to support the free creation and sharing of materials from these beautiful locations.
Key points
No permits or fees required for individuals and groups of up to 10 people recording video or audio on federal lands, including national parks.
Ability to record without prior notification, provided visitor rules are followed and nature or other people are not disturbed.
Permits and fees may be required for large groups (over 10 people), in areas not generally accessible to the public, in high-volume visitation areas, or when special staging equipment is needed.
These facilitations apply to both commercial and non-commercial recordings, regardless of the distribution platform.
