Easier Access to Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehab under Medicare

New rules make it easier to access heart and lung rehabilitation programs under Medicare. Starting January 1, 2022, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and clinical nurse specialists, in addition to physicians, can order and supervise these programs. This means faster and broader access to important healthcare for those in need.
