End of Filter Bubbles: Choose How You See Online Content.

New law gives you a choice: browse the internet without hidden algorithmic influence that tailors content to your data. Online platforms will have to offer a non-personalized version, allowing you to see a wider range of information, not just what the algorithm thinks is interesting for you.
Key points
More control over what you see online: platforms must offer an option to view content without algorithmic personalization.
Easy switching: you will be able to easily switch between personalized and neutral content display modes.
Greater transparency: platforms will have to disclose when they use algorithms that tailor content based on your data.
Exceptions for small businesses: smaller platforms and search engines may be exempt from some requirements.
