Alzheimer's Research and Caregiving Trust Fund: New Support Opportunities

This act establishes a new fund where citizens can voluntarily contribute money when filing their taxes. The collected funds will be used for Alzheimer's disease research and support for patients and their caregivers. This allows everyone to contribute to fighting the disease and improving the quality of life for those affected.
Key points
Option to voluntarily contribute a whole dollar amount from tax returns to a new fund supporting the fight against Alzheimer's disease.
50% of the fund's resources will be allocated to scientific research on treating and preventing Alzheimer's disease.
The remaining 50% of funds will support education, counseling, and caregiving services for individuals with Alzheimer's and their families and caregivers.
Contributions to the fund are additional support and do not replace other existing funding programs.
