Key points
The Administrator must coordinate with the Secretary of Defense, USGS, and NOAA to obtain the most up-to-date maps and watershed information.
Insurance rate maps may now include cadastral features, such as parcel identification data and, where practicable, addresses.
Maps must be updated within 5 years of the modernization of the National Spatial Reference System to conform with its geospatial data.
