Strengthening the Fight Against Illegal Wildlife Trafficking

The Act reauthorizes the activities of the Presidential Task Force on Wildlife Trafficking and amends definitions and procedures regarding countries identified as sources or transit points for trafficking. It expands the use of technology in anti-poaching efforts, including on digital platforms, and grants the Secretary of the Interior authority to issue administrative subpoenas to enforce species protection laws.
