Native Histories and Cultures Education Act
This Act aims to develop and disseminate accurate educational resources regarding Native American histories and cultures. The Director of the National Museum of the American Indian is tasked with creating a base curriculum that will be available freely to schools and educators. The Act also provides for grants to partnerships involving educational agencies and Indian Tribes to develop locally specific education programs.
