More "Made in USA" Products in Government Procurement

The Act establishes enhanced domestic content requirements for federal procurement. It sets a schedule for increasing the required percentage of U.S.-made component costs in procured manufactured articles.
Key points
The required cost share of U.S. components increases from over 60% (until enactment) to over 75% (starting January 1, 2029).
The Federal Acquisition Regulatory Council is to provide for price preferences for end products and construction materials determined to be critical to U.S. supply chains.
The bill provides for rulemaking in cases of unreasonable costs or lack of offers, and allows extending the 75% requirement deadline for national security reasons.
