Easier Access to Temporary Workers for Businesses in Low-Unemployment States

This act aims to make it easier for businesses in states with low unemployment to access temporary foreign workers. It creates an exception to the overall limit on work visas for these states, helping companies fill job openings.
Key points
Businesses in states with very low unemployment (3.5% or less) can more easily get visas for temporary workers.
Visas for workers in these states will be partially exempt from the nationwide limit.
The number of such exempted visas per state will be capped, and a lottery will be used if demand is high.
