Increased Visibility for Human Trafficking Hotline Information in Public Places

This act aims to make the national human trafficking hotline information more visible. Citizens traveling by plane, bus, or train, as well as those in federal buildings and at border crossings, will have easier access to help if they find themselves in a difficult situation or witness human trafficking. These changes are intended to improve public safety and awareness.
Key points
Human trafficking hotline information will be posted in restrooms of aircraft, airports, over-the-road buses, bus stations, passenger trains, and passenger railroad stations.
Contact details for the hotline will also be visible in all federal buildings and at ports of entry.
The goal is to facilitate access to help for human trafficking victims by increasing the visibility of contact numbers.
