No 2021 Recovery Rebates for Prisoners.

This law amends existing tax code to prevent individuals incarcerated for the entirety of 2021 from receiving the 2021 Recovery Rebates. For joint tax filers where one spouse is incarcerated, the rebate amount will be halved. These changes are effective retroactively to the original American Rescue Plan Act of 2021.
