Recognizing June 19, 2023, as Juneteenth Independence Day Observance.

The House of Representatives recognizes June 19, 2023, as the observance of the historical significance of Juneteenth Independence Day. Although already a Federal holiday, this resolution encourages citizens to actively participate in ceremonies and programs to better understand the nation's history and the legacy of freedom. Citizens are encouraged to use this day as an opportunity for learning and reflection on the past, strengthening societal historical awareness.
