Transferring Funds to Disaster Relief for Natural Disasters

This bill aims to transfer unused funds to the Disaster Relief Fund. This means that in the event of a major disaster, the Fund will have more money to support affected citizens and reconstruction efforts. These funds originate from economic assistance previously allocated to Ukraine, excluding those designated for preventing and responding to food insecurity.
Key points
Increased disaster aid: The Disaster Relief Fund will receive additional money, potentially speeding up and improving assistance for those affected by natural disasters.
Reallocation of funds: Unused money originally allocated for economic assistance to Ukraine will be redirected to domestic crisis support.
Food insecurity exception: Funds designated for preventing and responding to food insecurity in Ukraine will not be transferred to the Disaster Relief Fund.
