Healthcare for Families and Individuals Exposed to Harmful Conditions at Veteran-Related Sites.

This bill aims to expand healthcare access provided by the Department of Veterans Affairs to family members and other individuals who resided or worked at locations where veterans were exposed to harmful conditions. This means these individuals may receive medical care for illnesses linked to these sites, even if they are not veterans themselves. The law seeks to provide support for those who may have suffered from the same environmental hazards.
Key points
Extends Department of Veterans Affairs healthcare to family members and others who lived or worked at sites linked to veterans' illnesses.
These individuals can receive treatment for conditions presumed to be connected to exposure at these locations, provided they can demonstrate exposure.

The Department of Veterans Affairs will regularly report to Congress on the number of individuals receiving care, types of illnesses, and exposure locations.
