Changes to Agricultural Program Funding: End of Public-Private Partnerships

This bill changes how agricultural programs are funded. It removes the ability to accept private money for public-private partnerships in agriculture. Instead, the Secretary of Agriculture can establish special accounts to accept non-federal funds, but only to support the purposes of existing conservation programs, without creating new partnerships.
Key points
Ends public-private partnerships in agricultural programs.
Allows acceptance of private funds only for existing conservation programs.
Simplifies funding structure by removing several previous provisions.
