Supporting Civics and Government Education in Humanities Programs.

This act expands the scope of the National Endowment for the Humanities to include civics and government topics. This means more resources and programs will be available for education, research, and preservation of knowledge about how our government works and what citizens' rights and responsibilities are. This helps citizens better understand the political system and actively participate in it.
