Public Spending Oversight: Reports on Delayed and Over-Budget Projects
This act aims to increase transparency in public spending. It requires government agencies to report on large projects that are significantly delayed or have exceeded their budget by at least one billion dollars. This will give citizens better insight into how their tax money is managed and where problems arise.

The government will be required to annually report on projects that are more than 5 years behind schedule or cost a billion dollars more than planned.
Reports will include details such as project purpose, location, contractors, original and current costs and completion dates, and explanations for delays and cost increases.
The goal is to improve control over public spending and identify inefficient investments, potentially leading to savings for taxpayers.
