Affordable Insulin Act: Lower Costs for Patients

This act aims to reduce insulin costs for individuals with diabetes. Starting January 1, 2024, health plans cannot apply deductibles or charge more than $35 or 25% of the negotiated price for a 30-day supply of insulin. This is intended to make insulin more accessible and financially predictable for patients.
