Arnold Palmer Commemorative Coins: Supporting a Charitable Foundation.

This act mandates the minting of special commemorative coins honoring Arnold Palmer, the renowned golfer and philanthropist. Sales of these coins, including surcharges, will benefit the Arnold & Winnie Palmer Foundation, which supports children's health, character development through golf, and the Palmer legacy. Citizens can purchase these coins, with a portion of the price going to charitable causes.
Key points
Three types of commemorative coins will be minted: $5 gold, $1 silver, and half-dollar clad.
Coins will be available only in 2029 and will feature Arnold Palmer's image.
Surcharges from coin sales (ranging from $5 to $35 per coin) will go to the Arnold & Winnie Palmer Foundation for charitable purposes.
The minting of these coins will not incur any net cost to the Federal Government, as costs will be recovered from sales.
