Early Breast Cancer Detection: Free Screenings for At-Risk Individuals

This act ensures that individuals at increased risk of breast cancer or with dense breast tissue will have access to additional screening and diagnostic imaging without cost-sharing. This includes 2D/3D mammograms, breast ultrasounds, and MRIs, with no frequency limits. The changes apply to health plans, Medicare, Medicaid, and TRICARE, effective January 1, 2024.
