New Jury Selection Rules for Death Penalty Cases.

This law, named "Eric's Law," changes how death penalty sentences are determined. If a jury fails to reach a unanimous decision on a sentence, a new jury will be impaneled. This applies only to inmates serving a life sentence for murder who commit another murder while incarcerated.
