Federal Funding Ban for Forms with Non-Binary Sex Options.

A new law prohibits the use of federal funds for creating or distributing forms that offer sex options other than "Male" or "Female." This means that starting October 1, 2024, all federal forms requiring a signature will be limited to these two categories for sex identification. This could impact how citizens identifying outside the binary gender spectrum complete official documents.
Key points
Effective October 1, 2024, federal funds cannot be used for forms offering sex options other than Male or Female.
All federal forms requiring a signature must exclusively offer "Male" or "Female" as sex options.
