It will be illegal to bring into the US for commercial purposes, possess with intent to sell, or sell kangaroos (dead animals or parts thereof).
Introducing, selling, trading, advertising, transporting, or distributing kangaroo products in interstate commerce will become unlawful.
Violations can result in fines up to $10,000, imprisonment for up to 1 year, or both.
The provisions will take effect 180 days after the law is enacted.
