Easier Access to Health Savings Accounts (HSA) Benefits

New rules make it easier to use Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) by allowing direct primary care fees and services from on-site employee clinics to be covered. These changes aim to increase flexibility in managing healthcare funds and improve access to certain medical services.
Key points
Fees for direct primary care services can now be paid from HSA funds, expanding the use of these accounts.
Services provided at on-site employee clinics, such as physical exams or immunizations, will no longer prevent individuals from having an HSA.
It will be possible to transfer funds from Flexible Spending Arrangements (FSAs) and Health Reimbursement Arrangements (HRAs) to HSAs, offering greater financial flexibility for healthcare.
Individuals whose spouses have Flexible Spending Arrangements (FSAs) will still be able to contribute to their own HSAs, under certain conditions.
