New Visa Rules: Disclosing Chinese Funding for Students and Exchange Visitors.

This act requires individuals applying for student (F, M) and exchange visitor (J) visas to disclose if they receive or plan to receive funds from the Chinese government, the Chinese Communist Party, or entities controlled by them. This also applies to spouses and minor children, as well as those already holding valid visas, who must report such funds within 90 days of receipt. Failure to comply may result in visa revocation.
