Extension of Telehealth Services for FQHCs and RHCs

This bill amends title XVIII of the Social Security Act to extend telehealth services for Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) and Rural Health Clinics (RHCs). The legislation removes the previous time limitation that authorized these services only during the emergency period and for 151 days thereafter. Instead, it inserts a provision allowing telehealth services to be furnished during or after the emergency period.
