Intelligence Reform: Life Sentences for Supporting Fentanyl Production

This Act increases the US intelligence community's focus on combating transnational organized crime and illicit fentanyl, designating it as one of the highest priorities within the National Intelligence Priorities Framework. It establishes new federal crimes, including potential life imprisonment for a third conviction related to supporting fentanyl production and distribution. Furthermore, it transforms the National Counterterrorism Center into the National Counterterrorism and Counternarcotics Center.
