Faster Deportation for Non-Citizens Convicted of Protest-Related Crimes.

This bill establishes new, stricter deportation rules for non-citizens convicted of specific crimes related to protest activities, vandalism, or obstruction of infrastructure. If enacted, conviction for such acts—including those occurring on college campuses or involving federal monuments—would lead to immediate visa cancellation and expedited removal from the U.S. within 60 days.
Key points
New grounds for deportation: conviction for crimes committed during protests at universities or religious facilities.
Deportation also applies to vandalism of federal monuments and intentional obstruction of highways, roads, or tunnels.
Upon conviction, the alien's visa is immediately canceled, and removal from the U.S. must occur within 60 days.
