Increased Transparency and Oversight for Candidate Protection and Secret Service Leadership.

This law introduces new rules for Secret Service protection of Presidential and Vice Presidential candidates. If protection is denied, the Homeland Security Secretary must provide a written explanation detailing why the candidate did not meet the criteria, and the candidate can appeal the decision.
