Full Cybersecurity Scholarships for Two Years of Government Service.

This Act establishes the PIVOTT Program, providing full scholarships for cybersecurity education and technical training at community colleges. In exchange for free education, students commit to two years of service in a cyber role for Federal, State, or local government entities. This aims to rapidly build a skilled cyber workforce to protect national infrastructure, directly enhancing citizens' digital security.
Key points
Citizens can receive full scholarships (covering tuition, fees, travel, and stipends) for two-year cyber programs at selected technical schools.
Participants must fulfill a mandatory two-year service obligation in a government cyber role (Federal, State, or local) after completing the program.
The program includes required skills-based exercises, internships, and assistance with initiating the security clearance process.
Failure to complete the two-year service obligation requires repayment of the scholarship funds, treated as a student loan.
