College Thriving Act: New life skills courses for first-year students.

This legislation authorizes grants for colleges to implement "skills-for-success" courses for all incoming first-year students. The goal is to equip students with essential non-academic tools, such as stress management, time organization, and mental well-being strategies. Institutions, particularly Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), can receive at least $1 million over five years to develop and fully implement these programs.
