Digital Accounts and Support Plans for Low-Income Citizens (HOPE Act)

This Act aims to simplify access to social and financial aid by creating digital HOPE Accounts. Low-income citizens will be able to use a smartphone application to simultaneously apply for various benefits, monitor their status, and manage their personal finances and savings. The project seeks to reduce bureaucracy and the time required to obtain support, while strictly protecting data privacy and ensuring access to necessary devices and internet services.
Key points
Introduction of HOPE Accounts: centralized digital platforms for managing benefits, savings, and applying for aid (health, nutrition, housing, job training) from a single device.
Technology Access: Eligible citizens will receive basic smartphones or tablets and subsidized internet access if they do not already own them.
Action Plans: Voluntary partnerships with government/nonprofits to create personalized, long-term plans for economic self-sufficiency and upward mobility.
