It eliminates all out-of-pocket costs (copayments) for contraceptives, whether obtained through military facilities, retail pharmacies, or mail-order programs. Additionally, the act mandates family planning education for servicemembers and guarantees immediate contraceptive assistance for sexual assault survivors at military medical facilities.
