Community Mental Health: Grants for Local Resilience and Wellness Programs.

This Act establishes a new federal grant program to fund local initiatives aimed at improving mental health and emotional resilience across entire communities. Funds will be distributed to coordinating networks of various organizations (schools, neighborhood groups, businesses) to identify risk factors and strengthen protective factors, preventing mental health issues at the community level. The goal is to provide residents with access to non-clinical support programs and skills for coping with stress and trauma.
