Transfer of Unused Border Wall Materials to States.

This law requires the federal government to transfer unused materials intended for the border barrier to Arizona, California, New Mexico, and Texas. This aims to allow these states to independently reinforce or repair the border with Mexico, without incurring delivery costs. Federal contracts for the maintenance of these materials will be terminated, potentially leading to federal budget savings.
Key points
Unused border barrier construction materials will be transferred free of charge to the four border states (AZ, CA, NM, TX) within 90 days of the law's enactment.
States must use these materials exclusively for constructing, repairing, or reinforcing the barrier along the border with Mexico.
Federal contracts related to the storage and security of these materials will be terminated to facilitate the transfer to the states.
