Ban on COVID-19 Vaccine Mandates for Students in D.C. Schools.

This Act prohibits schools in the District of Columbia (D.C.) from requiring students to receive the COVID-19 vaccine as a condition for enrollment, attending classes, or participating in school activities. It also repeals the existing local D.C. law that mandated this requirement. Consequently, D.C. parents and students are relieved of the COVID-19 vaccination requirement for in-person schooling.
Key points
D.C. schools are prohibited from using Federal or local funds to enforce any COVID-19 vaccine requirement for students.
The existing D.C. law mandating COVID-19 immunization for students and early childhood workers is repealed.
Students can attend in-person classes and participate in school activities without proof of COVID-19 vaccination.
