Ending State Right-to-Work Laws: Mandatory Union Fees Nationwide.

This bill eliminates the authority for states to maintain or enact "right-to-work" laws, which currently protect employees from being required to pay union fees. If passed, employers and unions nationwide could negotiate contracts mandating that all covered employees pay union dues or fees as a condition of employment. This change affects workers in states where paying union fees is currently voluntary.
Key points
Repeals the section of the National Labor Relations Act that allows states to pass "right-to-work" laws.
Allows unions and employers across the country to negotiate agreements requiring all employees to pay union fees to keep their jobs.
Removes the option for employees in current "right-to-work" states to benefit from union representation without paying dues.
