Eliminating Green Card country caps and reforming H-1B visas.
This bill changes the Green Card system by eliminating per-country limits for employment-based immigrants and increasing limits for family-sponsored immigrants. It simultaneously introduces new requirements for employers using H-1B visas, including a mandate to post job openings on a new Department of Labor website. Immigrants waiting for a Green Card whose petition was approved at least two years prior will be able to apply for adjustment of status, allowing them to obtain work and travel authorization.
