Ban on New Gas-Operated Semi-Automatic Firearms and High-Capacity Magazines
This Act bans the import, sale, manufacture, and possession of newly produced gas-operated semi-automatic firearms and large capacity ammunition feeding devices holding more than 10 rounds (with some exceptions). Citizens who legally owned these items before the law takes effect may keep them, but future transfers of firearms are restricted to immediate family under specific conditions, and transferring high-capacity magazines is prohibited. The law establishes a process for the Attorney General to list prohibited firearms.
