Climate Resilience Fund: Investing in Infrastructure and Protecting Vulnerable Communities.
This Act establishes the Climate Change Resiliency Fund, financed by new federal obligations, to fund projects that protect critical infrastructure (energy, transport, water) from climate change impacts. At least 40% of the funds must be directed to communities disproportionately affected, such as low-income and environmental justice communities, enhancing their safety and public health. Furthermore, all construction projects must adhere to prevailing wage standards.
