Combat-Injured Veterans Under 20 Years Service Get Full Retirement and Disability Pay.

This law ends the financial offset for veterans who retired early due to combat-related injuries, but served less than 20 years. Previously, their military retirement pay was reduced by the amount of their disability compensation. Now, eligible veterans will receive both their full retirement pay and their VA disability benefits simultaneously, significantly increasing their monthly income.
