This Act mandates that all political advertisements containing images, audio, or video substantially generated or materially altered by artificial intelligence must include a clear disclaimer. This change ensures citizens can distinguish between authentic campaign materials and AI-generated content, promoting greater transparency in elections. Failure to comply results in significant financial penalties for those responsible for the ads.
